Who is SU? We’re an academic powerhouse with one of the highest graduation rates in the University System of Maryland. We’re an enthusiastic community leader providing thousands of volunteer hours to local non-profits. We’re an economic driver contributing nearly half a billion dollars to the local economy. We’re a visionary partner helping Maryland and the nation meet workforce needs with excellence! We’re welcoming faculty who are award-winners in our fields. We’re friendly students living on a beautiful campus with international arboretum status. We’re just minutes away from some of the East Coast’s most popular beaches. We’re a university you can call home.

The greater Salisbury and Lower Shore communities have played critical roles in the history and success of Salisbury University. The people, businesses, governments and civic organizations of the region—our community’s pillars—have supported the University with enthusiasm and affection. In turn, SU—its students, faculty and staff—hold civic engagement and service as key to a university education. We are so grateful for our relationships.
